SELF-CARE CLASS

With Sabrina Hall

FRIDAY 12th December

7.30pm to 8.30pm

The Angel Hall, Bowden House

 VISUALISATION/MEDITATION & SELF-MASSAGE

A gentle hour to slow down

A moment to soften the mind, breathe deeply and return to your body.

An evening created for anyone who feels the year in their bones and wants a place to rest.

We'll start with grounding, breath and a guided visualisation and gently transition to some nurturing and relaxing self-massage techniques.

Each part is designed to calm your nervous system and help you reconnect with yourself.

I will guide you through this slow and soothing journey back home to your body.

This class is offered freely with a welcome donation to the Samaritans, a charity that holds a very tender place in my heart. I have walked through my own mental health struggles and I lost my dad to suicide. I know the weight that pain can carry and I also know the power of a loving hand and a listening ear.

The festive season can be bright for some and very heavy for others. Memories rise. Pressure grows. Many people feel more alone than ever.

This hour is an invitation to care for your mental health, to reconnect with your breath, to soothe your body and to raise awareness of the quiet struggles many people carry.

The Samaritans receive thousands of calls every single day from people who simply need someone to listen.

Your presence and your donation will help support their incredible work.

A space to exhale

You arrive. You sit. Your shoulders drop.
The room holds you with soft light and quiet air.

There is nothing to achieve and nowhere to rush.

Only breath, presence and gentle touch.

A place to feel human again.

Coming back to your body

Your mind begins to settle.

Your breath becomes slower and deeper.

Your body remembers how to soften.

Each movement is simple and loving.

Each minute gives your nervous system a chance to rest.
You return to yourself.

We heal together

Community matters.

Care matters.

Knowing you are not alone matters.

This class is a reminder that even in the busiest season, we can choose presence.

We can choose softness.

We can choose to give support to those who hold others in their darkest moments.
