Pregnancy and the weeks and months after birth are times of profound change, both physically and emotionally. I offer pregnancy and postnatal massage in Totnes from my home practice in Follaton, supporting you through every trimester of pregnancy and from day 1 postnatal. My work is gentle, considered and deeply respectful of your changing body, offering space to rest, soften and be cared for.
Pregnancy massage

Pregnancy massage is adapted to support the body as it changes throughout pregnancy. Sessions are tailored to each trimester, taking into account posture, joint mobility, circulation and comfort. I work with supportive positioning, cushions and side lying where appropriate, ensuring you feel safe, held and at ease at all times.
Massage during pregnancy can help to ease common discomforts such as back, hip and pelvic tension, leg heaviness, shoulder tightness and fatigue, while also offering a moment of calm and connection during what can be an intense and busy time.
Postnatal massage
Postnatal massage supports the body after birth, whether your experience was recent or many months ago. I work with clients from day 1 postnatal, offering gentle and grounding massage that honours recovery, rest and integration.
Postnatal massage can support areas such as the back, shoulders, neck and hips, as well as the nervous system, which may feel depleted or overstimulated. Sessions are shaped around how you are feeling physically and emotionally, with no expectation to be anything other than where you are.

My training and experience
I am fully trained, qualified and insured to work through all trimesters of pregnancy and from day 1 postnatal. I trained with Wellmother, founded by Suzanne Yates, whose work is widely recognised for its depth, safety and integrity.
My training includes pregnancy massage, postnatal massage, basic shiatsu and acupressure, allowing me to support the body gently while remaining responsive to individual needs. I have been practising since 2015 and working with pregnancy and postnatal clients since 2016.
How sessions feel
Pregnancy and postnatal massage sessions are often described as calming, reassuring and deeply nurturing.
Touch is always slow, attentive and guided by your comfort. There is space to settle, to be listened to and to feel supported without needing to explain or perform.
Many clients leave feeling lighter in their body, calmer in themselves and more resourced for what lies ahead.

Pregnancy and postnatal massage in Totnes

I work from my home practice in Follaton, Totnes, offering a quiet, private and welcoming space to rest and receive. To respect each client’s time and experience, I ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment rather than before. This is so I can give each client the best possible experience, with the privacy and presence they deserve.
Each session includes time to undress and briefly check in before your massage, with space afterwards to reground and dress at your own pace. An intake form is sent at the time of booking to maximise hands on massage time. For example, a 70 min appointment includes 60 mins of hands on massage.
My work is reflected in over 145 five star reviews from clients who value care that feels safe, skilled and deeply human.
