Intuitive Touch

Intuitive Touch is a deeply nurturing practice rooted in presence, connection, humanness and safe, gentle touch. Each session begins with a conversation, allowing us to tune in to what is present, clarify intention and sense what may need to be released or welcomed. This initial meeting matters. It creates safety, trust and a shared understanding before any touch begins.

What is Intuitive Touch?

IMG_8277.jpg

Unlike massage, Intuitive Touch does not focus on muscles or techniques.

The emphasis is on creating space for the nervous system to soften, regulate and settle. You remain fully clothed, either seated or lying down on a mat, while I offer quiet, attuned support through touch that is led by intuition rather than structure.

Touch may include hand holding, gentle rocking, hair stroking, stretching, close body contact, or moments of stillness. Every gesture is guided by what feels right and comfortable for you in that moment. Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed.

What happens in a session?

This work is slow and relational. Silence, pauses and waiting are an essential part of the session, allowing the body and nervous system to respond in their own time.

There is no expectation to talk, process or explain, although words are welcome if they arise naturally.

Intuitive Touch offers space to feel, to breathe, and to reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe and contained. It supports the release of held emotions, patterns of tension and long standing stress, without needing to analyse or revisit stories.

Who is Intuitive Touch for?

Intuitive Touch may be especially supportive if you are drawn to work that is:

• Gentle rather than directive
• Focused on safety and nervous system regulation
• Rooted in presence and connection
• Quiet, slow and non invasive
• Supportive of emotional processing without pressure

Many women choose this work when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, tender or in need of deep care rather than physical manipulation.

How is Intuitive Touch different from massage?

And a session does not have to include touch at all. If touch feels difficult for you, the first step can simply be booking in and talking together about your relationship with it. We can begin there, gently. It is always at your pace, never rushed, and it can be paused or stopped at any time.

What happens in a session?

Often we begin with making contact over the sheet, where I gently press different parts of your body to welcome each  part of you. From there we move to massage, on the skin, under towels, always covered. And then, slowly, to floor bodywork. This is the part you see in the videos on my social media and on this page. There is hair brushing, holding, rocking, hugging, and simply resting my hands on your body.

Underwear is always worn. The work can be done over clothes or while wearing a bikini top/bra and loose trousers/leggings, whatever feels right for you on the day.

Communication and permission

This matters more than anything, so we talk it through at the start, and there is space for it on your form beforehand. Nothing is a surprise.

If touch is tender ground for you, I ask as we go, including each time we move from one part of the body to another. If you are comfortable with touch, I may not check at every step, but I am always watching how you are, and I will always ask before anything that brings me closer to you, like sitting behind you.

What does Intuitive Touch feel like?

Many women describe their sessions as profoundly grounding and healing. They often leave feeling calmer, lighter and more spacious, as if something within them has been gently seen, held and released.

The effects are often subtle yet deeply felt, continuing to unfold in the hours and days that follow.

This is a gentle return to yourself through the healing power of safe, nurturing touch.
