About Me, Sabrina Hall | Massage Therapist, Life/Business Coach & NLP in Totnes

I am a qualified and insured massage therapist based in Totnes, Devon, who has been practising professionally since 2015. I am also a qualified Coach and NLP and have been helping clients all over the world with their life and/or business. In terms of bodywork, I specialise in Bespoke, Slow and Intentional Massage and Intuitive Touch with a focus on the nervous system (see qualifications below). I have worked with more than 1,000 clients, have over 19K of followers on Instagram (follow my work here: https://www.instagram.com/iamsabrinahall/) and received more than 180 five-star Google reviews.
MY STORY
I grew up in a home that didn’t feel emotionally safe. Raised by a mother with chronic narcissism, love was conditional and often wrapped in emotional abuse. I learned to over-please, to disconnect from myself, and to question my worth.
There were dark moments and times I didn’t want to go on.
I attempted to take my life twice. And later, after witnessing domestic abuse, I lost my father to suicide. I found him.
These painful chapters cracked me open.
They led me to seek help, start therapy, and explore self-enquiry. Bit by bit, I began healing, and most importantly, loving and accepting myself.
That journey became the foundation of my purpose.

PURPOSE
I believe that nobody should have to heal alone.
That’s why I do what I do.
In 2015, I left my high-paying but soul-draining corporate job to open my first business as a massage therapist.
I’ve always felt a deep connection to the body, the way it holds tension, emotion, and stories that words can’t always reach.
In 2019, I became a certified coach.
In 2023, I trained and qualified in NLP.
Together, these modalities allow me to support people with their physical, emotional, and mental healing, holistically and deeply. I also offer business coaching to heart-led entrepreneurs who want to create a thriving business without the burnout.
I’ve now supported hundreds of people face to face and online. I don’t just offer sessions, I offer space. Space to feel safe, to be seen, to breathe, to cry, to reconnect, and to rise.
WHY ME
I don't believe a massage is just a massage, or that it is only about muscles, fascia and posture. I don't see the person walking into my practice as a body either.
I welcome each person as a whole being. Your body, your nervous system, your stories, your past, your dreams, your challenges and your own way of seeing the world. I do not work on you. I work with you, and with your body, as one whole system. Physical, emotional and mental.
I really stand by the fact that I don't just offer a massage. I offer a massage experience.
A journey. A voyage into a different state of being and feeling.
A chance to reconnect with your breath, your body, your heartbeat, yourself. I believe it can also be a spiritual experience.
And I have been developing this approach since the beginning of my career.
Slow. My work is slow.
Intentional. No movement or technique happens by chance.
Genuine. I care about how I apply touch.
Deep listening. To what you share, and to how your body responds to touch, contact, pressure and speed.
Presence. I am here, in the now, focused on you and how your body meets each touch.
Pauses. Time within the session for your nervous system to settle or release.
Flow. Massage that feels fluid, water like, each movement moving smoothly into the next.
Connection. Doing my best to stay in contact with your body throughout, so your nervous system stays settled.
Silence. It lets me pay attention to you and to how I am working, so I usually don't speak during a session. But I love a chat, so if you would rather talk, let's do that too.
I also believe massage doesn't have to feel clinical or routine. It should feel nurturing, nourishing, safe, and made for you.
This is why my sessions are longer than you may be used to. They are spacious and unrushed. There is time to arrive, and time to emerge from the experience before you leave.
MY PRACTICE ROOM
I have made this room carefully, and I am always finding small ways to make it better.
It is part of my home, but it belongs to my clients. There is a sign on the door so nobody rings the bell or knocks while a session is happening. Like any practice room, the odd disturbance can still gets through, but it is rare.
It is a cosy room. Soft blankets, an electric blanket under the table cover and another one over you if you want more warmth, and a bolster to prop under your legs if that helps you settle. There are hair bands, a head band and an eye pillow if you need them, water with slices of lemon, and something sweet for afterwards.
The room is warm. The lights are low, the music is gentle, and there is often an oil diffuser on. All of it can change. You do not have to have music, and if you would rather the window or curtains were open, that is completely fine. The options are there, and none of them are fixed.
Arriving
Please come at the time of your appointment rather than before, so that each session stays private.
Parking is easy. There is space on the pavement right in front of the house, and anywhere on the cul de sac or the estate. Please do not park across the driveway.
Getting in
There is one large step up to the front door, and the practice room is upstairs, ten steps up.
Bathroom
There are two toilets, one next to the room upstairs and one downstairs by the front door (with sanitary pads if you need some).

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I’m a proud and loving mum to one beautiful son, and married to an incredible and supportive husband.
We live in gorgeous Totnes, Devon, a place I absolutely love.
When I’m not holding space for others, I’m usually walking in nature, reading something soul-nourishing, drumming, swimming in the river or sea, enjoying sushi, travelling or trying something new and adventurous.
